The Slovenian EU Presidency will play a key role on the new Batteries Regulation and other policy files of the Green Deal.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our company TAB d.d. (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tab.si\/\">TAB Tovarna Akumulatorskih Baterij d.d.<\/a>) is a manufacturer of automotive and industrial batteries with factories in \u010crna na Koro\u0161kem and \u017derjav (both in Slovenia) as well as in the Republic of Northern Macedonia. TAB was established more than 50 years ago and employs more than 1,500 workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One key challenge for the Slovenian EU Presidency in the next six months will be to continue the work on the new Batteries Regulation. Manufacturers, such as TAB, produce batteries of various technologies, e.g. lead- and lithium-based batteries, for various applications, e.g. <a href=\"https:\/\/chargethefuture.org\/clean-mobility\/\">automotive<\/a>, traction, <a href=\"https:\/\/chargethefuture.org\/clean-energy\/\">stationary storage<\/a>.
